Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the party of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, staged protests across Pakistan today against what they claim are fraudulent election results. The protests erupted due to alleged discrepancies between the official results and the results recorded on Form 45s, which are official documents used during the voting process.

In Lahore, a major center of the protests, PTI supporters gathered at various locations throughout the city at 2 pm. However, the demonstrations faced resistance from authorities. According to News, at least six PTI supporters were arrested during the protests. Additionally, reports emerged of lawyers who participated in the Lahore demonstration being confined within a parking lot area.

These protests were not isolated to Lahore. PTI workers held demonstrations in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Chakwal, Dhabeji, Layyah, Karachi, Khanewal, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Muzaffargarh, and several other major cities across the country. The party had previously announced plans to hold protests against alleged rigging in over 30 locations within Punjab province alone.
