The three-member bench, led by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and comprising Justices Athar Minallah and Muhammad Ali Mazhar, passed the order while hearing a plea by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), challenging the arrest of Imran Khan by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The legal team of Imran Khan, headed by Hamid Khan, appeared before the court. Hamid Khan argued that Imran Khan was arrested from the court premises while he was in the room for biometrics, and that the personnel broke into the room to arrest him.
