Palestinians are not allowed to raise and maintain a professional army; therefore, they find it more challenging to maintain peace and equilibrium. Accordingly, a professional army is critical for a nation for the safety of sovereignty and protection of the people.
A professional army is critical for the safety of a nation because it provides a reliable and effective defence against external threats, as well as a source of stability and deterrence within the nation. A professional army is composed of well-trained, disciplined, and motivated soldiers who are loyal to the nation and its values. A professional army also has the necessary equipment, technology, and resources to carry out its missions and protect its interests.
The case of Palestine illustrates the importance of having a professional army for the safety of a nation. Palestine is a stateless nation that has been under Israeli occupation since 1967. The Palestinian people have been subjected to various forms of oppression, violence, and discrimination by the Israeli authorities and settlers. The Palestinian resistance movement has been largely fragmented and ineffective, relying on sporadic attacks by militant groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
