The Year 2022 Exposed All and Sundry in Pakistan

It is a law of nature to hide. Even nature hides. Then, it manifests all its colours across imaginations and practicalities. Nature exposes itself through aesthetical exposure and compassionate emotions and even poses merciless treatment. Hence, nature manifests all exposures as it is the law of nature.
Humans instinctively hide. They hide out of fear, depression and apprehension. Then, why do they hide? They hide their fears and shortcomings. However, they expose their pride, vanity and power. Hence, this is not the case; nature will expose their fears and shortcomings as it is the law of nature. Consequently, how much humans hide in veils, nature shall expose them.

It was the case in 2022, in Pakistan. The law of nature exposed each character and even the characters of destiny. The year began exposing the governance merit of Imran Khan. All myths regarding merit, transparency, accountability and good governance were exposed to the people as much as that critics of Imran Khan attribute him that he is a misfit for governance. The governance in KPK and Punjab exposed the governance mantra of Ik. Then, his accountability endeavours were personal, not vindictive. He could not build institutions, and nothing concrete with reforms was achieved. His party lost almost all the bye-elections. This is an apparent proposition; however, inside the power corridors, the Establishment and IK went apart, and it made IK unacceptable to the Establishment irrespective of the merit of the argument. It also exposed that IK was the favourite child of the Establishment who was thrown into power by the political engineering of the Establishment. The statement is vindicated by General Bajwa himself when he declared that Establishment had gone neutral. A nice confession, establishing that they supported Ik to win the 2018 elections.

2022 also exposed Establishment to the people when they themselves declared that they had gone neutral and would not control politics. Moreover, the Bajwa Doctrine was severally criticized. The mantra of fifth generation war also dismayed the youth of Pakistan. The political engineering was exposed to the extent that the whole nation knows how the governments are planted in Pakistan. Earlier, there had always been obscurity around the political role of the Establishment. Although Nawaz Sharif and PPP kept on trumpeting the role of the Establishment in politics, the PTI always kept it a secret. Then, with the regime change of Ik, they also went on a spree declaring that Establishment had done it. Then, the cypher conspiracy, an exaggerated expression by the PTI and Ik. The phrase ” Islamic Touch” by Qasim Suri explains that all narratives are riddled with religious and political emotions. The worst causality is the media. All forms of media, whether electronic, print or social, all tiers exposed themselves. Media is an investment in Pakistan. Critics call it a ” SAITH MEDIA”, meaning it is controlled by money, and that is too often not honest money. How can it be called media when owners are capitilististic tycoons? The GEO and ARY explain the intent, substance and ideology of media in Pakistan. Therefore, they never had widespread credibility with the people. However, the year 2022 exposed them to the core of truth. The tycoons implemented their agendas, and the media persons seemed to sell their souls to the devils. The print media has been the same story. There is no need to discuss it more, as it is almost redundant. Social media and U-tubers sell their products to political and emotional cults. It is not an overstatement to say that most U-tubers are actors rather than media persons. They all took advantage of the soaring popularity of Ik and raised their followers and viewership according to planned economic interests.

The politics of PML N stands exposed in the year 2022. Earlier, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif MNS would trumpet the ideals of democracy. His notoriously famous slogan,” VOTE TO IZZAT DO”, proved to be ” IQTADAR KO IZZAT DO.” He comfortably allied with the Establishment, whom he criticised for overthrowing his government. All politicians want to ensure their rule than the people’s rule. The year 2022 exposed that MNS was never a democrat.
Now, coming to the greatest administrator of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He also stands exposed in the year 2022. His little tenure in the office of prime ministership proves that he was never a great administrator but a declared one. He might be a good mayor or project doer but is not a statesman, as he has been a source of memes for his opponents, especially the PTI. Ishaq Dar also stands exposed as the whole PML N team. The governance sermons of the N league proved an eyewash. The prospective leader of PML N, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, proved irrelevant as she needed help managing bigger crowds in the bye-election, as PTI and Imran Khan routed her campaign.

The politics of PDM and PPP stands also proven. How could divergent political ideologies of ANP, JUI F, Baloch Nationalist Parties, MQM and other allies oust the PTI government? Hence, they were never ideological but political. Even the Chaudhry brothers exposed themselves. The family of the Q league separated conveniently and politically. Even Tehreek Labaik remained silent and comfortable with the new role assigned to them. The politics of Bilawal and Zardari stands exposed as they are the new partners in making. PPP has renounced all her so-called political preferences for the cause of power. Earlier, PPP had been exposed as an incompetent government; now it has been exposed that it could converge with all those powers whom it had been saying un-democratic.https://republicpolicy.com/11826-2/

Parliament’s legislature kept on exposing that they did not represent the people. There are mere rubber-stamped legislatures. Then, the judiciary lost public trust in the year 2022. Even the lawyer’s fraternity kept saying that most political decisions are compromised. Then, the role of law enforcement agencies kept raising eyebrows. The bureaucracy, Police and other civil services exposed themselves to nepotism, partnerships and administrative affiliations. Even our artificial behaviours and conducts stand exposed as a society that we are a hypocritical nation. The worst part is that we do not speak the truth; we camouflage ourselves to fool others. Hence, the year 2022 exposed all of us. Let all of us re-think to take a new beginning for making Pakistan a progressive, just and prosperous country.
