UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah to Visit Pakistan for Talks on Trade, Energy, and Regional Security

United Arab Emirates Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan is set to arrive in Pakistan on Sunday for a two-day official visit, according to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Office.

The visit, described as a reflection of the “deep and brotherly ties” between the two nations, aims to further strengthen cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, energy, and regional stability.

During his stay, Sheikh Abdullah will meet with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The two leaders will hold detailed discussions on expanding bilateral relations, with a strong focus on economic collaboration, energy partnerships, and boosting people-to-people connections.

The agenda also includes a broader exchange of views on important regional and global issues that impact both countries.

This visit comes shortly after their last meeting in Abu Dhabi on February 21, 2025, highlighting the growing momentum in diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

In addition to his meeting with Foreign Minister Dar, Sheikh Abdullah will also meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The leaders are expected to reaffirm their commitment to a shared vision of peace, prosperity, and regional cooperation.

The Foreign Office emphasized that this high-level visit will not only deepen the Pakistan-UAE partnership but also open up new avenues for collaboration in areas that benefit both countries.
