Pakistan rejected Indian NSA Ajit Doval’s claims of hitting nine targets on May 7, calling them distorted and misleading. Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said the remarks violated international norms and reflected a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.

He condemned India’s “boasting of military aggression” as a breach of the UN Charter and urged New Delhi to acknowledge the downing of six of its fighter jets. Khan also noted civilian casualties from India’s strikes and highlighted India’s growing global involvement in state-sponsored terrorism, including alleged assassination plots abroad.

On U.S. declassified documents about past cooperation in Afghanistan, Khan said the past should guide a better future. He reaffirmed strong ties with both China and the U.S., expressing hope for a future trade agreement with Washington.
