Despite these talks, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov dismissed prospects for meaningful progress, insisting that Moscow rejects any placement of foreign troops in Ukraine.

According to President Zelenskyy, Russia launched 574 drones and 40 missiles overnight, hitting targets as far west as Lviv. One of the most significant strikes targeted Flex Ltd., an American-owned electronics manufacturer in Zakarpattia, injuring 19 people. The company confirmed that six employees remain hospitalized and emphasized that it has no connection to military production. Zelenskyy condemned the attack as a deliberate strike on U.S. property and investment in Ukraine.

Zelenskyy has indicated a willingness to show flexibility on his ceasefire demands, provided that security guarantees for Ukraine are established.
