Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has stated that the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will undergo further medical evaluation and treatment at a specialized healthcare facility. According to the minister, the chairman’s eye condition will be examined and managed by leading eye specialists to ensure he receives the highest standard of care.
In a message shared on the social media platform X, the minister provided an update on the ongoing treatment process. He emphasized that the government is committed to maintaining transparency and responsibility in the matter. To this end, he added that a comprehensive medical report will be prepared and submitted before the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Attaullah Tarar also appealed to the public and political stakeholders to refrain from speculation or politicizing the situation. He urged that the matter should not be used to generate political rhetoric or serve vested interests, stressing that health concerns should be handled with seriousness and dignity rather than turned into partisan debate.
