PM Shehbaz talks Punjab situation with Nawaz Sharif in Geneva

[post-views]

GENEVA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz.

On Monday, PM Shehbaz co-chaired a summit in Geneva to try mobilise international assistance to assist Pakistan in recovering more efficiently from the destruction caused by recent floods.

Pakistan has received $10.7 billion in flood promises, much above the $8 billion objective, as it scrambles to raise finances to rebuild the devastated 33 million inhabitants and restore billions of dollars in damage.

PM Shehbaz and Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar met and discussed party concerns and the wider political situation in Pakistan, particularly the Punjab context.
