ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a two-day official visit today (Thursday). The Prime Minister was welcomed at the Abu Dhabi airport by UAE Economic Affairs Minister Abdullah Touq Al-Marri.
The Pakistan Embassy in the UAE was also there to greet the Prime Minister. A Foreign Office official stated in a news statement on Tuesday that the prime minister is visiting the UAE at the request of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The prime minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes senior cabinet members. The two leaders will also discuss a variety of regional and global problems of mutual interest.
The prime minister will also meet with Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
