Pakistan women’s football captain shines

The leader of the Pakistani female football squad, Maria Khan, has expressed her pride in being likened to exceptional footballers following her spectacular free-kick goal in the four-nation cup contest held in Al Khobar against Saudi Arabia.
Recently, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia ended in a draw at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium, resulting in Pakistan securing second place with four points in the tournament.
Maria, who was acknowledged as the tournament’s top player, contributed to Pakistan’s equalizing goal by scoring a magnificent shot from a distance.
In an interview with the private news channel, Maria expressed, “I am honored to be linked with renowned football players following my free-Kick goal against Saudi Arabia. I am proud that my family has made contributions to sports, and now I am attempting to make a contribution to football, in addition to squash.”
The captain of the Pak Shaheens stated that the most remarkable aspect of the four-nation cup was the national women’s team receiving attention and she hopes to see the same in future tournaments.
