The CEC presided over the meeting, which members from all provinces and Election Commission Secretary Umar Hameed and other officials attended.
The meeting involved a comprehensive DG law and other officials briefing, focusing on preparing for the general elections.
One key topic discussed was the consideration of releasing the election schedule after the current assembly’s term expires and the election of the caretaker prime minister.
The CEC emphasised the importance of swift and meticulous preparations for the elections.
