Former Pakistan cricket captain and renowned commentator Ramiz Raja has pinpointed the primary challenge facing the Men in Green as they prepare for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and ICC World Cup 2023, two of the most highly anticipated cricket tournaments.
Raja, a former cricketer himself, emphasized that Pakistan’s batsmen must enhance their skills in dealing with spin bowling, particularly on pitches in Asia.
It’s worth noting that both the Asia Cup, scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka, and the World Cup in India, are expected to feature spin-friendly conditions.
“Pakistan is grappling with difficulties when it comes to facing spin bowling, and this is an issue they must address in preparation for the Asia Cup and World Cup because these tournaments will be played in similar conditions,” Raja stated on his YouTube channel.
