In a display of solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine, Pakistan took a significant step on Thursday by dispatching the initial consignment of relief assistance.

A chartered aircraft, loaded with 100 tonnes of vital medical supplies, tents, and blankets, took off from Islamabad during the afternoon, as announced by the Foreign Office.

Radio Pakistan reported that this relief aid, which includes 1,000 winter tents, 4,000 blankets, and three tonnes of medicines, is en route to Palestine via Egypt.

The relief assistance, a joint effort of the Pakistan Army and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), is poised to deliver immediate relief to the affected population in Gaza.

The Foreign Office, in an expression of Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, stated that the nation stands firmly with its Palestinian brothers and sisters, and its support will persist.
