Russia has said that Israel’s statement that dropping atomic bombs on Gaza is not out of the question has raised many questions.
Russia has also joined the countries expressing concern over the statement by a junior minister of Israel that dropping an atomic bomb on Gaza is not out of the question.
Reacting to the Israeli minister’s statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that it proved that Israel not only has nuclear weapons, but also intends to use them.
After this statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suspended the right-wing minister and banned him from attending cabinet meetings.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharov said that the most important thing is that Israel has apparently admitted that it has nuclear weapons.
According to the official Russian news agency, Maria Zakharov said that the first question is whether we are listening to the official position on nuclear weapons.
And if the answer to this question is in the affirmative, then where are the International Atomic Energy Agency and other international nuclear watchdogs?
Earlier, the US condemned the Israeli minister’s statement and called it totally unacceptable.
