Islamabad: According to details, a fire broke out in the go down of Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad on Monday night.
The fire, which started near the anti-riot equipment and uniform warehouses, quickly spread to other parts of the Police Lines headquarters, prompting the evacuation of nearby residential barracks for police personnel.

As soon as the information was received, six fire brigade vehicles, a police water cannon and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control after strenuous efforts.
According to the sources, the cause of the fire could not be known yet. Sources also said that there was no loss of life in the incident.
