ISLAMABAD: Pakistan this morning attacked the hideouts of banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) in Iran. This step has been taken after provocation by Iran.
Pakistani forces have named this operation “Marg Bar Sarmchar”. This operation is an intelligence-based targeted operation in which military installations or civilians are not being targeted. In this regard, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan launched attacks in a coordinated and organized manner in Sistan, a province of Iran, on Thursday morning.

He said that several terrorists were killed in the operation, adding that Pakistan will continue to take all necessary measures for the safety and security of its citizens.
It was an intelligence-based operation, he said, adding that the move represented Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s national security and defence.
