LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has requested the supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to vote for the People’s Party in the February 8 elections.
Addressing an election rally in the township, the former foreign minister said the February 8 elections are between two parties, the PPP and the Muslim League-N.
Highlighting PTI’s loss of the bat symbol, Bilawal said that the PPP retained its election symbol of an arrow while the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz got its election symbol of a lion.
Bilawal urged PTI supporters to participate in constructive politics. Criticizing the behavior of the former chairman of PTI, he said that we kept asking the PTI chief to do politics, abusing rivals and putting them in jails is not politics.
Sympathizing with PTI workers facing challenges, Bilawal blamed Nawaz Sharif’s Muslim League (N) for the failures of the former ruling party. He expressed his respect for the political workers and shared his experiences.
Citing the arrests of several PTI workers allegedly involved in attacks on military installations since May 9, 2023, Bilawal appealed to PTI supporters to fight against the PPP in a fight between a lion and an arrow. support
He vowed to end revenge politics. Bilawal stressed the need to end outdated political practices and advocated unity among all forces to bring the country out of political crisis.
