Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) founder approached Islamabad High Court seeking bail in Tosha Khaana and £190 million cases.

According to details, the PTI founder, through his lawyer, filed two separate petitions against the accountability court’s decision denying him post-arrest bail in both the cases.

In the petitions, the PTI founder requested the Islamabad High Court to set aside the accountability court’s decision and grant him bail. In the petitions, it was pleaded that the accountability court rejected the PTI founder’s bail plea in both the cases.

The PTI founder said that the cases against him were motivated by political vendetta and ‘nefarious’ motives.

Earlier on January 09, the Accountability Court of Islamabad had rejected the PTI founder’s bail plea in the Tosha Khana and £190 million case.

Judge Muhammad Bashir, presiding over the Tosha Khaana and £190 million references, ruled on the petitions filed by the ousted prime minister.
