Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar has said that the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are getting stronger with each passing day.
He was talking to a four-member delegation of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Juma Group under the leadership of Sheikh Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Juma, the head of Al-Juma Group in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan values Saudi investment in the energy sector.
The delegation apprised them about new renewable energy investment projects to generate fifteen hundred megawatts of electricity.

Al Juma Group has invested heavily in K-Electric. The new projects will utilize local and renewable energy resources to generate electricity.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed confidence that KElectric will further improve its infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted power supply to domestic and industrial consumers.
He said that K Electric’s investment strategy in the alternative energy sector will help reduce electricity rates for consumers.
