The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to take measures to stop the acts of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

A bench of seventeen judges, headed by the president of the court, John Donoghue, gave these orders in The Hague, Netherlands.

The court also ordered Israel to take immediate and effective measures to ensure the provision of urgently needed humanitarian aid and basic services to Gaza.

Israel has also been ordered to report to the court within a month.

The case was brought by South Africa and was supported by several other countries, including Brazil and Pakistan.
