Pakistan and UAE sign Memorandum of Understanding for Outsourcing Operations of Karachi Port Cargo Terminal

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have signed a memorandum of understanding to outsource the operations of the overall and general cargo terminal at East Wharf Karachi Port.

Under the MoU, operations at seven berths of the port will be outsourced.

The MoU signed between Karachi Port Trust, Pakistan and Abu Dhabi Ports Group, UAE aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the maritime and logistics sectors.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar witnessed the signing of the MoU and expressed his satisfaction at the increased exchange, interaction and cooperation between business entities in Pakistan and the UAE.
