Kashmir Solidarity Day is being celebrated today. Its purpose is to express the full support of the Pakistani nation to the just struggle for the inalienable right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people under the United Nations resolutions.
A press release issued by the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs said that all arrangements have been completed to celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day at home and abroad.
In which it was said that a solidarity walk will be organized across the country and in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
A rally will be held on Constitution Avenue in Islamabad to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
A minute’s silence will be observed at 9:30 am to pay homage to the martyrs of Kashmir.
Posters and billboards have been displayed around important places, airports and railway stations to highlight the plight of Kashmiris.
In connection with this day, debate and speech competitions as well as essay writing competitions are being organized in educational institutions.
