Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq announced his resignation from his post due to the party’s disappointing performance in the general elections.
In a social media post on X, Sirajul Haq said that the party had made great efforts in the election but could not get the desired results.
Jahangir Tareen, the head of the Stabilization Pakistan Party, has also announced his resignation from the post of chairman as well as from politics. In a post on X, he said he would continue to serve the country in a private capacity.
