On Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, President Asif Ali Zardari announced that 104 individuals, both from Pakistan and abroad, would receive national awards for their outstanding contributions to various fields. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on March 23, 2025.
The awardees come from diverse fields such as science, education, medicine, arts, sports, and public service. One of the recipients, Arshad Nadeem, the gold medalist in the Paris Olympics, will be honored with the Hilal-e-Imtiaz award.
The awards also include posthumous honors for individuals who made significant contributions to literature, medicine, and gallantry. Additionally, foreign nationals, including Saudi Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman Al Saud, will be recognized for their services to Pakistan.
The awards celebrate the diverse contributions and achievements of individuals from both Pakistan and abroad, highlighting their dedication and impact on various aspects of Pakistani society.
