PTI Leaders Arrested by Islamabad Police Sparking Controversy

Police officials in Islamabad arrested PTI leaders Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, and Advocate Shoaib Shaheen outside of Parliament on Monday night. The PTI accused the capital police of carrying out illegal orders and called the arrests a direct attack on democracy.

The situation escalated after a much-awaited rally in Islamabad, with clashes between PTI supporters and the police resulting in a number of arrests and heightened tensions. PML-N Senator Talal Chaudhry has vowed legal action against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for the chaos at the rally, further fueling the controversy.
