The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, has decided not to attend the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch confirmed this decision, citing the Deputy Prime Minister’s upcoming diplomatic commitments and the ongoing preparations for the 23rd Meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as the reasons for his cancellation.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s plans to participate in the UNGA Session remain unchanged.
