Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been chosen as the new Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and is set to assume the position on the 30th of this month. Currently serving as the Adjutant General at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Lt. Gen. Asim Malik has a distinguished military background, having previously commanded the Infantry Division in Balochistan and the Infantry Brigade in Waziristan. He has also received a Sword of Honor and has served as the chief instructor at the National Defense University (NDU) and as an instructor at Command and Staff College Quetta. Additionally, he is a graduate of Fort Leavenworth and the Royal College of Defence Studies.
