COAS General Asim Munir Meets Saudi Counterpart to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Friday that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir engaged in discussions with his Saudi counterpart, General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al Ruwaili, covering a range of bilateral topics, particularly centered on security and defense.

In a concise statement, the military’s media wing stated, “General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led a high-powered military delegation that met with Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir.”

During the meeting, the two military leaders explored various areas of shared interest and potential cooperation, with an emphasis on defense and security affairs.

Additionally, the ISPR noted that the delegation had previously met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
