India Says No to Uninterrupted Dialogue with Pakistan

In a recent statement, India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar declared that ongoing, uninterrupted talks with Pakistan are no longer possible, emphasizing that actions have consequences. He also addressed the issue of Occupied Kashmir, stating that as far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, Article 370 is done.

Furthermore, Jaishankar discussed the nature of India’s relationship with Pakistan, emphasizing that India is not passive and will react to events in a proactive manner. This comes after Pakistan confirmed the formal invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the upcoming SCO meeting.

Additionally, at the OIC Contact Group meeting in Cameroon, Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi discussed the ongoing situation in Occupied Kashmir, highlighting India’s efforts to strengthen its control over the region in violation of UNSC resolutions.

It was reported that the Contact Group reiterated its support for the Kashmiri people’s pursuit of self-determination, emphasizing the importance of resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute per UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
