Hazardous locations should not host makeshift tents, and labourers must be provided with proper shelters during adverse weather conditions. An in-depth assessment of infrastructure stability is necessary, with all relevant departments on high alert to tackle potential dangers.
Learning from these tragedies, authorities should prioritize collaboration with the meteorological department to better prepare for extreme weather events. Given the ongoing predictions of continued rains, proactively safeguarding vulnerable areas and communities is of utmost importance.
