Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday held former Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa and former ISI Director General Faiz Hameed responsible for bringing the no-confidence motion against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

In an interview to a private news agency, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led the no-confidence vote while General Bajwa and Faiz Hameed were allegedly influencing the parties involved.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized the importance of non-interference in political matters while recognizing respect for all state institutions.

He also suggested that the narrative surrounding the events of May 9 would end if Stubb felt the general election was fair.

Maulana Fazlur Rahman, in response to a question, highlighted the differences with the PTI but suggested that they could be resolved through dialogue.

Regarding the coalition efforts under the leadership of Muslim League (N) President Shehbaz Sharif, he has said that the aim of the Muslim League (N) is to form a government with 66 seats to save the future of the country. However, he doubted the effectiveness of this parliament and said that decisions and policies will be formulated from elsewhere.

Asked about his party’s ongoing protests against election rigging, Maulana Fazlur Rehman asserted that they will continue until resolutions are reached, predicting a revolutionary outcome as a result of these protests. .
