Streets throughout Pakistan were adorned with vibrant colours and green lights on the 12th of Rabi ul Awal, 1446, to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on Tuesday.
In observance of this significant day, Muslims across the country illuminated streets and buildings with colourful lights and participated in processions, Milad gatherings, and prayer ceremonies.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) in their messages to the nation on this auspicious day.

President Zardari called upon the nation and the Muslim Ummah to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) as a guiding light to overcome prevailing challenges. He highlighted the Holy Prophet’s establishment of a just society and emphasized the importance of speaking out against oppression and supporting the marginalized.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also stressed the significance of the Holy Prophet’s teachings, advocating for unity, love, and brotherhood, as well as the principles of helping the weak, orphans, and the needy. He called for attention to those suffering from poverty, hunger, and hardship and urged for solidarity with the oppressed in Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
