Pakistan’s Finance Minister Holds Meeting with International Investors

The Minister of Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with a group of international investors led by Amin Mohammad Khowaja, CEO of J.P. Morgan Pakistan, to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan. The discussions focused on potential investments in renewable energy, information technology, infrastructure development, and the financial sector.

The investors expressed keen interest in these sectors, recognizing Pakistan as a promising market with strategic regional importance. Minister Aurangzeb assured the investors of the government’s full support and highlighted positive economic developments, such as increased exports and a decline in inflation. He also emphasized the government’s commitment to economic reforms to create a favourable environment for foreign investment. The investor delegation commended the government’s efforts to promote a business-friendly environment and showed optimism about increased investment flows into Pakistan.
