ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s confirmation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s participation in the SCO virtual summit in New Delhi is still pending, as reported by The Republic Policy News on Friday.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, “We have received a notification stating that the Heads of State Meeting will be conducted virtually. We are currently awaiting further details from the current chair of SCO regarding the specifics of the virtual meeting.”
“At this moment, we do not possess any additional information to share. Once we receive the details of this online meeting, the invitation will be carefully evaluated,” added the spokesperson.

Regarding the mural displayed in the new Indian Parliament, depicting regional countries including Pakistan as part of Akhand Bharat, the spokesperson expressed concern, stating, “We are aware of the reports regarding the installation of a mural at the new parliament building in New Delhi.”
