Pakistan’s security forces have killed 14 more Indian-sponsored terrorists in the Zhob district near the Pakistan–Afghanistan border, a day after eliminating 33 militants in the same area, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday. This brings the total number of terrorists neutralised in two days to 47.

According to ISPR, the latest operation followed successful engagements in the Sambaza area on August 7–8, 2025, where 33 “khwarij” were killed. On the night of August 8–9, a deliberate sanitisation operation was launched, resulting in the elimination of 14 more terrorists. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered.

ISPR reaffirmed that security forces remain committed to protecting Pakistan’s frontiers and thwarting all attempts to destabilise the nation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the forces for risking their lives to foil infiltration attempts, reiterating that the entire nation stands united in the fight against terrorism.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the professional capabilities of the forces, saying 47 terrorists of “Fitna-e-Hindustan” were eliminated in just two days, foiling a major plot to spread unrest in Balochistan.
