Tensions between Pakistan and India spiked overnight after security sources reported that Indian forces launched attacks targeting innocent Pakistani civilians during a nighttime assault. In response, Pakistan has carried out retaliatory measures, according to official sources.
The Muridke area experienced loud explosions, with initial reports confirming at least three powerful blasts, adding to the growing anxiety in the region.
Strongly condemning the attack, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif labeled it a cowardly act. “India has shown its cowardice by attacking under the cover of darkness. They struck from the shadows, but our response will be louder, stronger, and impossible to ignore,” he asserted.
Issuing a direct challenge, Asif added, “If India has the courage, meet us on the battlefield and face us head-on. Let’s settle this directly and see who stands tall.”
He further accused India of deliberately targeting civilians in these attacks, saying, “This was a calculated and shameful act against innocent people. They didn’t even have the bravery to step outside and confront us like men.”
