Of this, 119,210 slots are reserved for the government scheme and 60,000 for private operators. Two packages will be offered: a long stay of 38–42 days and a short stay of 20–25 days. Children under 12 will not be allowed to perform Hajj.

The estimated cost for the government scheme ranges from Rs1.15 million to Rs1.25 million, subject to final agreements. The “Route to Mecca” facility will continue at Islamabad and Karachi airports, while a dedicated monitoring team will oversee operations. A transparent complaint system will also ensure timely redressal for pilgrims.
