Trump Refuses Immediate Deal as US-Israel-Iran Conflict Intensifies

[post-views]

US President Donald Trump has warned that he is not ready to negotiate a deal to end the US-Israeli offensive against Iran, saying that while Tehran may be open to talks, Washington will continue fighting for better terms. Trump’s remarks came amid renewed missile and drone attacks by Iran on Gulf countries and Israel, and fresh waves of airstrikes by US and Israeli forces on Iranian targets.

The conflict has thrown the Middle East into chaos, disrupted global air travel, and hindered oil exports, pushing fuel prices higher worldwide. Despite rising casualties and economic disruptions, neither Washington nor Tehran is showing signs of moderating rhetoric. Trump indicated that US forces may strike Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export facility, again, and suggested increasing attacks along Iran’s coast north of the Strait of Hormuz to secure oil shipments.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi urged other nations to avoid actions that could escalate the conflict, while Iran’s new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei vowed to keep the strait closed. The Israeli military announced new strikes in western Iran after Iran’s Revolutionary Guards threatened Israel’s leadership.

In Tehran, daily life continues, with markets reopening and people resuming work. Humanitarian agencies report over 1,300 deaths in Iran and millions displaced. Regional violence persists, with attacks in Iraq, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Israel. Despite ongoing clashes, Iran says it remains open to proposals that would fully end the war, though progress remains unclear.
