SHANGHAI: After fighting with employees over his missing laptop, an angry visitor smashed his sports vehicle through the doors of a Chinese hotel and drove madly around the lobby, leaving a path of wreckage.
According to local authorities, the event occurred in the late morning on Tuesday, and the driver was a 28-year-old guy called Chen who had a quarrel with hotel workers about the disappearance of his laptop during his stay.
An official press statement released on their Weibo social media account, no one was wounded in the event, and Chen was held awaiting further investigation.
The laptop was taken and located outside the hotel, according to hotel workers. The automobile slammed through another set of doors before proceeding to the exit, only to bang into a door frame and come to a stop, its danger lights blinking.
