A Russian military leader recently revealed that he was relieved of his post after drawing attention to the dire state of affairs on the Ukrainian frontlines. In his account, he highlighted the vulnerabilities faced by Russian troops, attributing them to the shortcomings of senior military officials.

Major General Ivan Popov, the former commander of the 58th Combined Arms Army, disclosed in a voice message shared by Russian lawmaker Andrei Gurulyov that he was dismissed for honestly conveying the ground realities to higher authorities.
