Major Drug Bust in Rawalpindi, Over 3 kg of Charras Seized

In Rawalpindi, law enforcement agencies took action against suspected drug peddlers, bootleggers, and individuals involved in criminal activities on Thursday. As a result, nine individuals were apprehended, and a significant amount of illegal substances and contraband were seized from their possession.

The Dhamial police confiscated 1,800 grams of charras and two bottles of liquor from one suspect. Kalar Syedan police arrested Mazhar Iqbal, who was found in possession of 510 grams of charras. Sadiqabad police detained Saleem with 501 grams of charras, while Race Course police apprehended Samiullah for carrying 500 grams of charras and Danish for possessing 10 liters of liquor. Airport police also took Arslan into custody after discovering five liters of liquor in his possession. Sadiqabad police arrested Gilgas, who had four liters of liquor. Lastly, Rawat police rounded up Waseem, who had 400 grams of charras.

All the accused have had separate cases registered against them, and further investigations are ongoing.
