During his visit to Karachi on Friday, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir was provided with an update on the ‘repatriation of illegal foreigners’ among other important subjects at a Provincial Apex Committee meeting, as announced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Upon his arrival in the port city, the army chief was warmly received by Commander Karachi Corps.
As stated by the military’s media wing, the meeting encompassed discussions on various matters, including the revised National Action Plan, operations in the Kacha (riverine) region, the security of foreign nationals working on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects within the province, and various private initiatives. Sindh Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar also participated in this significant meeting.
