RAWALPINDI: In the wake of fierce confrontations, six terrorists met their demise, and tragically, four soldiers were martyred during two separate operations in tribal districts, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.The intense clashes between the terrorists and security forces unfolded during the night spanning October 18 and 19 in the North and South Waziristan districts, as reported by the military’s media wing.The ISPR disclosed that the initial encounter occurred in the Gharyoum area of North Waziristan. In this operation, the security forces effectively engaged the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of six militants.Among the terrorists slain was a high-value target, identified as the terrorist ringleader Hazrat Zaman, also known as Khawarey Mullah. He had been deeply involved in numerous acts of terrorism in the region and was a wanted individual pursued by law enforcement agencies, the ISPR affirmed.
