Bail granted to Sanam Javed in Muslim League house burning case

Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore granted bail to Sanam Javed and Muhammad Tanveer in the case of setting fire to the Muslim League House.

Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed Chadhar pronounced the reserved verdict on the post-arrest bail plea of Sanam Javed and Mohammad Tanveer.

Sanam Javed’s lawyer took the stand that his client was implicated in the case after six months. However, Deputy Prosecutor Abdul Jabbar Dogar opposed the application and requested the court to reject his bail application.

The prosecutor said that the accused Javed incited people to arson and violence. The ATC court, while pronouncing its verdict, accepted the post-arrest bail application.

The Model Town police had registered a case against PTI activist Sanam Javed for setting fire to the Muslim League House office.
