Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir, recently met with Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim to discuss their countries’ strategic interests, regional security, and defense cooperation. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening military ties between the two nations, as reported by Express news.
During the meeting, the Malaysian Prime Minister praised Pakistan’s armed forces for their role in promoting regional peace and stability, particularly recognizing the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army in combating terrorism. Additionally, the Malaysian Prime Minister extended an invitation to General Asim Munir to visit Malaysia, which was gratefully accepted. This visit is expected to further enhance the strong bond between the two countries. Furthermore, General Asim Munir also participated in an investment event and official dinner in honor of the Malaysian Prime Minister at the Presidential Palace.
