PTI’s main demands center around the release of their workers and an independent investigation into the events of May 9 and November 26. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, via his account on ‘X’, warned that if the government does not demonstrate seriousness about their demands by December 22, PTI would initiate the first phase of a civil disobedience movement, including a boycott of foreign currency remittances.
Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, shared that if the government reaches out for negotiations regarding these two key demands, they would consider halting their remittance movement. She conveyed this message to reporters outside Adiala Jail, reiterating the urgent need for dialogue from the government.
