According to unofficial results, Abid Zuberi won by a margin of 199 votes. Abid received 1347 votes while his rival Khalid Javed received 1148 votes. Abid Shahid Zuberi has defeated Khalid Javed in 12 polling stations across the country. Hamid Khan Group has won the battle after four years. Earlier, Asim Jahangir group was sweeping the elections for many years. Both the candidates belong to Sindh.
Abid Zuberi had been backed by PTI and this victory is being considered a win for PTI due to the prevailing political situation in the country. PTI chairman & other leaderships have congratulated the winning president of SCBA elections.
