Actor Sam Neill reassured his fans on Saturday that he’s been in remission for the last eight months, following his recent disclosure that he was diagnosed with stage 3 blood cancer last year.
In an Instagram post, the New Zealand-born star said that he’s doing “fine” and that his health is on the upswing.
He added that he’s “alive and kicking” and eager to return to work. Neill also spoke about his surprise at having a thriving acting career and shared that his book, “Movies, Life, Love and Other Catastrophes,” chronicles the crazy events that have happened to him along the way.
Despite the recent attention on his health, Neill emphasized that he’s alive and well.
