Election 2024: PTI announced its candidates from Peshawar

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced its candidates for 13 provincial assembly seats in Peshawar for the elections to be held on February 8.

According to the details, the important seat of PK 72 has been handed over to former Deputy Speaker Mehmood Jan, while Ali Zaman Advocate of Insaf Lawyers Forum has been given a party ticket to contest the election from PK 73.

Arbab Jehandad, Malik Shahab, Samiuddin and Sher Ali Afridi will contest from PK74, PK75, PK76 and PK77 respectively.

Former district nazim Arbab Asim is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s candidate from PK-78, while former finance minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra has been given a PTI ticket to contest from PK-79, Peshawar.

Hamid ul Haq and Noreen Arif will contest the elections from PK-80 and PK-81 respectively on PTI tickets.

Former ministers Kamran Bangash and Meena Khan Afridi will contest election 2024 from PK-82 and PK-83 respectively and Fazal Elahi will be the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf candidate from PK-84.

Earlier, the Election Commission had sent the list of election symbols of 145 political parties to the Returning Officers (ROs). The name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was not included in the list of election symbols
